What this game offers
Connect four pieces while considering where the next one will land and what the opponent is threatening.
- The same goal changes with sideways entry, obstacles or a one-time piece removal.
- You can consider a complete move before placing a piece.
You may enjoy it if…
You enjoy turn-based boards and blocking a threat before building your own.
Start with Four in a Row.
What to keep in mind
This version pits one person against the computer; it has no room for two friends.
Pace: Turn-based against the computer, without a countdown.
An example decision
If the computer can complete a line next turn, first check whether your piece can block it. A nearby column is not necessarily a valid block.
How to play
Your next piece could change everything.
Choose a column. The piece drops to the first supported empty spot.
Look for double threats: two places where your next piece could complete a line. First check whether the opponent can win on its next turn.
