Micro Rally or Estela X: racing versus light bikes

Micro Rally is about cornering and completing races; its online rooms support up to six drivers. Estela X is about surviving by closing routes with trails and 90-degree turns against the computer. Only Micro Rally brings friends into an online room.

We compare game rules and controls. Stated times are mode limits, not average durations. Recommendations are editorial. How we prepare these facts.

What moving well means

In Micro Rally, you navigate a circuit and complete laps. Braking before a corner can help more than spending turbo inside it. In Estela X, you preserve safe space: a short route can be bad if an opponent closes it. Its main goal is survival, not crossing a finish line after laps.

Two different ways to turn

Micro Rally accelerates automatically and combines steering, braking and turbo. In Estela X, each turn tap changes direction 90 degrees to the bike’s left or right. Phase briefly crosses trails, but the boundary remains lethal. Both game pages explain their touch controls.

Compete with friends or face the computer

Micro Rally online accepts one to six human drivers, runs three-lap races and has a 90-second maximum. Cars do not push each other and each driver has their own pickups once per lap. Estela X is single-player: its arena mode has three computer-controlled rivals, while duel mode reduces the contest to one opponent.

How to choose without a single difficulty ranking

Choose Micro Rally to learn a circuit, refine corners or gather your group. Choose Estela X for route blocking, quick turns and deciding when to spend phase. Start with Grand Prix in Micro Rally or the arena mode in Estela X. Scores and win conditions are not comparable between the two.

Questions when choosing

Can I play Estela X with another person?

Not in its current modes: its rivals are computer-controlled. For shared races on separate devices, use Micro Rally’s online rooms.

Do both games use the same mobile controls?

No. Micro Rally uses steering zones, brake and turbo. Estela X uses taps for 90-degree turns, plus Phase and Turbo. Try each game’s turning controls before chasing a score.
