GAME GUIDES
Daily challenges: the same challenge to compare scores
Clear the Lot and Cosmic Merge offer shared daily challenges. The parking game uses the same board; the merge game uses the same sequence of 40 drops. They change at 00:00 UTC.
| Game and modes | What makes it different | Pace and limits | Players |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clear the Lot | Plan fixed-direction exits with a traffic light that switches after each exit from level 4. | No countdown in the untimed mode; a timer in rush mode. | 1 player |
| Cosmic Merge | Place planets that roll and merge when they touch a matching planet inside a container. | No countdown; the daily challenge allows 40 drops. | 1 player |
| Ptooey! | Adjust angle, charge and wind to gain distance or hit targets. | Attempt-based; the harbor cup gives three throws. | 1 player |
We compare game rules and controls. Stated times are mode limits, not average durations. Recommendations are editorial. How we prepare these facts.
Compare the same mode
A score needs its rules for context. In the daily parking puzzle, exits, errors and hints matter. In the daily merge challenge, results depend on merges and the placement of 40 drops. These scores represent different challenges.
Replay to improve
You can replay the daily challenge. Use one attempt to spot where you lose points and another to adjust that decision. In parking, check the exit path before tapping; in merging, remember which drop left you without space.
When the challenge changes
The reset uses UTC, not each player’s local midnight. When comparing results, make sure you opened the same mode on the same challenge day. A multiplayer room link is different: it brings people into a temporary shared match.
Three challenges, three useful details to record
In the daily parking puzzle, record errors, hints and manual light changes alongside points: exits are not the only decisions affecting the result. In the daily merge challenge, record which of the 40 drops you reached. In Ptooey!’s daily gale, compare the same level: each level shares its daily wind and gives three attempts to beat the distance.
